1) Isis has a dating website. It targets Western women, with a "match" dot com type of feeling to it.“There's even a hashtag that's going around - ‘jihotties’. -Trevor Noah
2) Kentucky will be getting a Noah's Ark Theme Park.
3) Facebook's 1.6 billion users click the "Like" button 6 billion times a day - more than the number of daily Google searches.
But, now, at long last, the "Like" button is getting an upgrade. It's always felt weird to "like" a post about a friend getting a divorce, or losing a loved one, but until now, that was the only way to let your friend know that you had "heard them", and were"there" for them.
The new "Like" button will have six aspects:
Wow, Angry, Like, Love, Sad and Yay. Think #WALLSY (Hashtag was my own invention — use at your own risk).
That should cover it. Right?
4) America has been losing nearly 1 acre of farmland every minute to development, as cities and suburbs expand and build roads. This land, the most fertile soil in the world, is irreplaceable and urgently needs to be preserved to grow food.
5) Trevor Noah is appearing with President Obama at a Democratic retreat next week in Baltimore, Maryland.
“Politico reports that the 31-year-old South African native will join President Barack Obama, Vice President Joe Biden and party donor Tom Steyer in headlining multiple events throughout this three-day event."

A 28-year-old man was arrested and charged with Disorderly Conduct, after authorities say he threw two tomatoes at Donald Trump during a campaign stop in Iowa City, Tuesday night.
He was taken into custody by the Secret Service and members of the University of Iowa Police Department immediately after throwing the tomatoes at Trump.
Trump appeared Tuesday night in front of a crowd of a couple thousand people at the UI Field House. His speech was interrupted numerous times by protesters.
Disorderly Conduct is a simple misdemeanor punishable by a fine up to $625 and/or imprisonment up to 30 days.
7) 62 Billionaires have more money then one half of the world's population. These billionaires are stashing an estimated $7.6 trillion offshore.
8) Don't flush that Goldfish down the toilet! They are not meant to end up in the wild.
Several years ago, about four or five goldfish were dumped into Teller Lake in Colorado, and there are now 4-5000 goldfish in the lake. Most measure at least 9 inches long! Goldfish are not native to Colorado, so they are seriously disrupting the ecosystem, eating food that is meant for other creatures.
Rangers are trying to figure out the best way to get rid of them. They've considered electric shock, draining the lake, or "just killing them".
9) Trump is taking a play from Ronald Reagan's playbook. In 1980 Reagan, too, skipped the final debate before the Iowa Caucuses.
10) Michigan Governor, Rick Snyder, has asked the Federal Government to help fix the water situation in Flint.
And apparently Obama has granted his wish. So, basically the American people are going to be paying $80 million for Governor Snyder's mistake.
How about the donors who bankrolled his Gubernatorial campaign absorb that expense, instead?
11) Donald Rumsfeld was on The View today, hawking his new product, an app called "Churchill Solitaire", which has an impressive 4.5/5 rating in the App Store.
It was originally a game that Winston Churchill developed using two decks, and ten rows (instead of 7), and played with his protégé, Andre de Staercke. When Staercke was a NATO diplomat in the 1970s, Rumsfeld learned it from him.
Rumsfeld decided to develop it, because there were only about a dozen people left on the planet who knew how to play it. He didn't want it to be lost forever.
The game has a WWII theme, air raid sirens and a backdrop of historical newspaper clippings. Rumsfeld says it "takes patience and perseverance, cunning and concentration, and strategy and sacrifice."
The app is free but has in-game purchases. All profits will go to charity.
12) Blue Tarp Man is dead. I'm sure you've already heard the news. Ammon Bundy and six of his cronies were arrested yesterday. Two protesters were shot, one fatally.
Robert LaVoy Finicum, 55, the guy who had 15 minutes of fame, and was known as “Blue Tarp Guy” or “Blue Tarp Man” because he spent his time at the Malheur Preserve keeping warm underneath a blue tarp, while sitting in a rocking chair, with a rifle over his lap, claiming that they "wouldn't take him alive", has made good on his promise.
The exact details are still unclear, but all reports are that there was some kind of a shoot-out, after police set up a roadblock on the highway. Finicum came out of the car, and charged the officers, who shot him dead. The other (slightly) injured party was Ammon Bundy’s brother, Ryan.
I've seen many posts by liberals today who were expressing joy, saying"he got what he deserved".
Shouldn't the real question be whether this violence was actually necessary?
Shouldn’t we be demanding to know why the government choose to let the illegal occupation play out this way, and for so long? If they'd nipped it in the bud, yesterday's tragedy could've been avoided.
Seems to me that the Government could have "smoked them out" without any bloodshed if they'd blockaded the road, gave no "in and out privileges" (didn't the "occupiers" go to Church that first Sunday?), shut off their cell phone service, shut off the Internet, not allowed packages to be delivered, and made it so the insurgents were under a true siege, where they eventually ran out of food! Simple! No fuss, no mess. No unnecessary violence.
Instead they've created a martyr out of Blue Tarp Man. I fear this isn't over.
Plea for HELP! I apologize for the “unusual” formatting of my posts. I can’t figure out how to create paragraphs with a return between them. I have tried to find some guidance in the HELP documents, but I guess I haven’t used the right keywords. I’ve tried “Line Spacing”; “Leading”; “Paragraph Spacing”; “Hard Return”. I’ve also tried holding down different function keys while hitting Return (Opt + Return; Control + Return, etc); and I also tried the same combos with the Enter Key. Obviously, none of these worked. What am I missing? HELP!!

*NOTE* - Please understand that I do not claim to be a “journalist”. I am only passing on bits of information, which others have researched, that drift through my awareness, on any given day. I watch, read and listen to any number of different news and entertainment sources, and it’s more than anyone could possibly intake and retain in a day, so I created this little daily “cheat sheet” for myself, so that I could remember all these oddball facts. Then I decided to share these tidbits, and thus was born the Daily TILT. I do this for fun. I hope you enjoy it.
Message me to SUBSCRIBE to the Daily TILT ("THINGS I LEARNED TODAY")
**NOTE: I purposely do not include links or photos in the TILT. The idea is to not have one story be highlighted above all the others. And sometimes links can be stressful. I, myself, sometimes get conflicted when presented with too many choices, so I thought I'd save you the trouble of having to make any of those types of decisions for a few minutes, while you read the Photo and Link-Free TILT!
I encourage you to further research any story that interests you, though. They are easy to Google.
